This time of the year most of us are getting a bit overwhelmed by all the things we want to do before Christmas, before the end of the year approaches us!! Quite often we feel that there is too much to do in a short period of time which makes us feel stressed and we don't enjoy the time between now and Christmas much - sometimes it seems a time of the year to just get through... That's what I hear quite often from people, which made me think of tips I can give on how to create balance in this time of year, increasing vitality, productivity, a healthy friendly workplace as well as decreasing stress. This makes us, the workplace and people around us happier which results in better decision making skills at work and at home.

At your computer desk think of sideways stretching, lengthening the hamstrings and back.

And remember to give your eyes a rest!!!

It is always the three things from the yogic point of view: balance and stretch the body, balance the breath and practice relaxation. All that and more - like beautiful fresh organic food, fresh air and great company - is what is there for you on our last weekend retreat this year: 25th - 27th of November in the Ecolodge in the Glass House Mountains. http://yoga-health-retreats.com/

Investment: $220 incl.GST (includes 5 Yoga sessions, Yoga hall hire, 5 meals). Plus your choice of accommodation - there is different accommodation so your end-fee will vary.

Again 10% of all the profits go to Project NOW "nurturing our women" - building a residence to accommodate women determined to beat their addictions and rebuild their lives - a project supported by the Rotary Club Brisbane Planetarium. Here are a few benefits of massage:

  • Enhance immunity by stimulating lymph flow—the body’s natural defense system.
  • Exercise and stretch weak, tight, or atrophied muscles.
