Prevention of RSI, CTS and Frozen Shoulder (part 1)
If you are sitting a lot in front of the computer screen there are a few more things you can do to make sure you are not letting your body down. Don't ignore your body, because this might lead to "wasting" it, "wasting" your health.
Here is what you can do if you are not attending our Yoga classes in The Gap or Taringa or we are not yet at your workplace with our work-life-balance-Yoga-programs:
1. Hold both arms straight out in front of the body at shoulder level.

Open the hands and stretch the fingers as wide as possible as you inhale
Then close the fingers to make a tight fist with the thumbs inside as you exhale.
The fingers should be slowly wrapped around the thumbs. Do this up to 10 x
2. Every half hour turn away from the computer screen and look at a fixed point in the far distance on eye level you can focus on clearly (while you inhale) and then focus/look at a closer point as you exhale.
Next week there will be another 2 tips coming your way with this newsletter.
